Outpatient Services

In addition to our 24-hour emergency department and our inpatient hospital areas, many patients visit Quincy Medical Center for outpatient care.

To expedite the registration process, please have the following information with you when you arrive for your scheduled appointment:

  • The name of your referring physician or reason for your appointment. 
  • At least one form of identification, preferably with a picture.
  • All insurance information, including a referral number, if necessary
  • Any applicable insurance co-payments or deductibles. Insurance co-payments and deductibles are expected at the time of service.
  • If you are uninsured or under insured, please bring two of the most current pay stubs from either yourself or a nearest family member who is currently employed.

Please note that the concierge staff is available to assist you, should you need directions to your appointment or a wheel chair escort to your appointment. The concierge staff are located at the front and rear entrance and in the emergency department.  If the concierge desk is temporarily unattended, call 617-376-4403.
